Hop into spring our Spring Design Class to brighten your home. Spring offers us an array of colors and textures and a limited floral selection until May. Holland is offering us bulb flowers on a weekly basis and so many gorgeous options to design with. Our local flower farmers will have daffodils and tulips that you probably have never seen before.
One of our favorite design styles is parallel and landscape design. Parallel can be simplified as looking at a cityscape seeing all the skyscrapers standing tall and proud with the next level being townhouses, apartments, and condominiums. The base layer would be your parks and landscaping. Landscape design is a more informal style where it appears as if you just pulled a small section of a garden from its roots and miniaturized it to fit in your container.
Your class will be the perfect blend of design styles and you may be creative with the direction your floral takes you. We want you to have fun and think about how plants and flowers naturally grow outside and bring that to the container. Giggles and laughter are required.
You are always welcome to come with a friend or even one of your kids, just please notify us in advance to make adjustments in how we teach.
There will be two class dates this will be offered on our calendar, if you have a group of 3 or more we can easily find you a private Spring Design Class time.
Community Classroom Dates: Wednesday, April 13th, 10 am – 12 pm and 6-8 pm and also Saturday, April 23rd, 11 am to 1 pm
