F.E.E.D.

The acronym for Flora Elements Education and Design spells FEED. FEED nourishes the soul’s curiosity and passion for creating art with flowers. FEED encourages students to use the rainbow of colors that Mother Nature gives people as their fingers reach to experience a variety of textures. There are so many textures in the floral world. For example, there is the softness of hydrangea and carnations, the paper-like delicacy of ranunculus, the prickles of arangium, and the wood grain of birch and driftwood.

A florist has one of the few jobs that requires a person to see with her/his hands. Touching and working with floral materials activates emotions and feelings which, in turn, ignite a fire of imagination resulting in an impressive floral design. Flora Elements Education and Design strives to feed every part of a student’s mind and soul.
