Intimate WeddingFloral in Delafield, Wisconsin

2020 pushed our creative limits to present a wedding space as an intimate wedding floral destination. We were very lucky in Delafield, Wisconsin that our area was not as restrictive as some others. So, what we noticed is that as the numbers decreased for guest attendance the dollar amount spent on backdrops and décor increased to capture the memories and create your own perfect bubble for the day. Small intimate weddings are what Flora Elements does best. We enjoy listening to your stories and encapsulating your vision to provide that intimate feel you want on your wedding day. The Lake Country area is filled with wedding venues that offer an ambiance like no other. The Delafield Hotel has balconies, staircases and one of a kind look for your photographs and we were just there this April for a very intimate wedding that had blues and blushes and the cutest puppy named Mo who walked down the aisle in a Muscari floral collar.

Another favorite near Delafield is Rustic Manor which has a chic barn setting where we had the first real snowfall last year and our bride was beyond beautiful in her pictures with the light dusting of snow surround her and her gorgeous florals. The guys looked mighty fine in their blue suits and a shotgun shell boutonniere to tie off the country cowboy wedding theme.

A new venue that opened a few years ago is Fete of Wales, just on the border of Delafield and Wales, and we had one of the most beautiful fall weddings. You should see all the little nooks and crannies this venue has hidden to make a photographer stay outside and shoot gorgeous photos. Whether it’s the little dock near the pond, the swing under the large oak tree for a stolen kiss, the prairie grass, or under the rustic arch it’s sure to be a showstopper photograph. Sarah and Frank showed off with the best dip and kiss of 2020.

Backyard weddings were some of our favorites last year too! We had large moon gate arches that set the stage for a wedding which started off with everyone huddling up under tents to get warm and stay dry to a beautiful afternoon of clear skies which made for some picture-perfect moments.

Most of our brides at Flora Elements choose to have smaller intimate weddings within the Delafield surrounding areas as they have many more options in venues and floral décor can be more interpretive. We are a no-pressure floral studio meaning we can provide everything or if you want to DIY part of your reception, well that is okay too.
