Flora Elements offers kids floral design workshops for any age starting at age 6 and up. Creativity and tactile skills are a vital part of developing a child’s artistic abilities, seeing color patterns, and appreciating Mother Nature’s beauty that surrounds us. Lisa works with kids individually or in groups to help them explore height, depth, texture, color theory, smell, and spatial learning while learning basic floral design principles and elements. Lisa also has some fun showing the students how to creatively add floral design techniques into their arrangements. Kids will be encouraged to follow a basic design but also have creative freedom to see their potential and develop their artistic expression.
We have seen so many wonderful kids blossom and grow in our small floral design workshops at the library and inside our studio.
